Moonbeam Updates and Payments

Hey everyone, Anthony here! Here are a few quick updates:

• Payouts: The first payments of Open Beta will go out tomorrow for USA-based individuals (we are still working on international payments with Stripe). If you have earned any Moonstones, please make sure you’ve connected your Stripe account via the Creator Dashboard. You’ll receive 100% of Moonstones earned, with a minimum payout of $1 USD. If you got 100 Moonstones or more, a payout will be heading your way!

• Pilot Stream Tonight on Moonbeam: Tonight at 7:30pm EDT / 6:30pm CDT / 5:30pm MT / 4:30pm PDT I’ll be joined by a few awesome folks from the community that have stepped up to provide direct feedback and advocate for feature suggestions from the community. They’re pilots cause they are helping pilot Moonbeam to infinity and beyond! Come hang with us as we chat about Moonbeam! Join us on Moonbeam for the stream tonight!

• Upgraded Stream Quality: This weekend, Pat and the team went into the underbelly of Moonbeam to find ways to upgrade the stream quality to a crisp 1080p! We’ve been testing this out the past few days and it works! We plan to roll this quality upgrade out soon to more folks on Moonbeam—more to follow on this exciting development!

• Public Realms: We will be opening up some new Public Realms as well as putting out applications for folks to apply for a Public Realm in our Open Beta. This is experimental and we are still working things out, but just wanted to give you a heads up more info is coming. So, if you have an idea for a Public Realm, starting thinking about that!

• Lots of Improvements: Pat, JD, Arya, Brandon, and Michael have been busy working everyday to improve Moonbeam and the iOS and Android Beta app. We had a big release of updates on Friday and there’s a lot more to come. Thank you for your support, patience, and your cheers as the team continues to build Moonbeam! Wild to think this started with a BackerKit and we are here now…heck yea!
